Jotun Paints has carried out maintenance on Saudi Basic Industries Corporation's (Sabic) tank farm, (Sabtank).

Work was carried out on the loading and unloading terminal in Yanbu, at berths 40 and 41, using Jotun's newest range of environmental friendly products developed to meet Europe's strict new laws on solvent emissions, toxicity and product safety.

One coat of Waterfine Primer was applied along with a waterfine Topcoat, Jotun claimed.

Jotun is also an active participant in Sabic's new coating and lining committee, Sabic Engineering Standard - Paints, Coatings & Linings (SES-PCL).

Jotun has joined forced with Sabic to develop this new standard and update the existing specification.
