Tecwel is a service company offering acoustics-based logging tools, including WLD (Well Leak Detector) and WSD (Well Sand Detector).
WLD is able to detect and locate small leaks with an accuracy of one meter and can identify fluid leaks (oil, gas and water), independent of direction, between the tubing and annulus/casing leaks (while logging in tubing)/leaking gas lift mandrels and other down-hole equipment. SD can detect and locate sand production from perforations, screen failures, sliding sleeves etc.
