UK FIRM Solartron Mobrey's popular KB Series averaging flowmeter is now available in a new version for small pipes from 12 to 50 mm diameter. Further enhancements to the entire range include an optional integral three valve manifold and a unique safelock mounting mechanism, for simpler, safer, more reliable installation.

The new three-valve manifold allows direct mounting of the pressure transmitter on the pipe installation, according to the company. This provides easier, neater installation with less risk of leakage. Sensors are available on their own, or complete with a pre-mounted Solartron Mobrey 4301 pressure transmitter.

The upgraded KB Series is suitable for use in process temperatures of up to 400 deg C and has flanges rated to ANSI 1500lb, according to the company.
