Background
Qatar Petroleum is on track to construct the bi-directional pipeline between Khatiyah Main (KM) and Khatiyah South (KS).

Project Status
August 2015:The pipeline is on time for completion in September 2015. Commissioning to start in February 2016.

Project scope
Project will aim for installation of 20 inch wet gas pipeline to avoid flaring by providing a bidirectional pipeline and facilities for diverting either 1st stage gas at KM during the outage of its gas compressor to LP Dehydration Unit at KS or 1st stage RAG at KS to KM for compression, during the outage of KS Gas Lift TEG and FN Gas Lift Compressors.
