Tsu-Jae King Liu, a renowned researcher, innovator, and academic leader, has been appointed as the National Academy of Engineering's (NAE) next president. Liu, who is also the dean of the College of Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley, is known for her pioneering contributions to semiconductor technology, including the invention of FinFET.
