Yokogawa Corporation of America has been selected as Main Automation Contractor (MAC) for the $13 billion Commonwealth LNG project in Louisiana, US.
Awarded by EPC contractor Technip Energies, the contract covers engineering, design, integrated control and safety systems, system integration and execution support.
The LNG export facility, located near Cameron, will have a planned capacity of 9.5 million tonnes per annum across six liquefaction trains.
Operations are targeted to begin in 2030, strengthening US LNG export capabilities.
