The second edition of the Global Renewables Summit (GRS25) will take place in New York.
The summit will feature speakers from government, business, and international organisations, including the European Commission’s President Ursula von der Leyen, Kenya’s President William Ruto, and the Bahamas’ Prime Minister Philip Davis.
It will highlight the progress made in the global renewables boom, including breakthrough investments and record deployment levels.
The summit will also serve as a springboard for political commitments and private sector leadership.
It will focus on national energy plans, energy security, unlocking capital for emerging markets, expanding grids and storage, and accelerating green industrialisation.
With COP30 fast approaching, the GRS25 will be a pivotal moment to mobilise investment, policy, and partnerships to scale renewables at unprecedented speed.
