The African Energy Chamber (AEC) has signed an MOU with (B)energy to roll out ccCASH, a continent-wide clean cooking finance mechanism that rewards households for verified climate, health and social impacts.
Addressing reliance on polluting fuels by over 200 million African households, ccCASH channels finance directly to users through a shared, technology-neutral digital platform.
AEC will lead advocacy, while (B)energy drives implementation and partnerships.
