As many as 10,000 telephone lines are being installed at the Bahrain Financial Harbour. The estimate follows a visit by Batelco's access network managers to the project, expected to initially open on the Manama coastline in 2006.
Their visit was part of an ongoing co-operation with the architects to ensure that all telecommunications are in place on time. It featured a presentation by Ahmed Janahi Architects, responsible for the design and implementation of the project, followed by a tour and inspection of the cable trench and the duct lead-in to the telecoms room.-TradeArabia News Service
