The inaugural Beijing Energy Congress will take place from January 13–15, 2027, bringing together global energy leaders, policymakers, investors, state-owned enterprises, technology providers and end users to explore the future of the global energy sector. 

Positioned as a new international exhibition and conference, the event will focus on the strategies, investments and technologies driving the next phase of energy transformation.

Expected to attract more than 30,000 attendees from over 100 countries and 500 exhibitors, the congress will showcase innovations spanning the entire energy value chain, including oil, natural gas and LNG, hydrogen, renewable energy, low-carbon technologies, nuclear power, electrification, artificial intelligence (AI), digitalisation, energy manufacturing and shipping.

The Strategic Conference will examine the rapidly evolving global energy landscape, with discussions centred on energy security, geopolitical developments, investment strategies and the transition to more diversified, electrified and digitally enabled energy systems. 

Government officials, executives from international energy companies and financial institutions will address the challenges of balancing supply security with decarbonisation while meeting growing global energy demand.

Conference sessions will explore key themes including energy strategy and policy, resilient infrastructure, energy transformation, consumer demand, capital allocation, technology innovation and the role of AI in reshaping energy operations. 

Particular attention will be given to AI-powered energy management, automation, digital platforms and the increasing electricity demands created by hyperscale data centres.
