Background
Adma Opco is implementing another development to its Umm Shaif field. The client has announced plans to provide additional gas supply to the onshore Umm Shaif Super Complex (USSC). The upgrade of the gas facilities is aimed at boosting USSC capacity and resulting in the ability to produce 200 million more standard cubic feet of gas per day.
Project status
April 2016: The project is under construction, at a final stage and expecting completion soon.
Project scope
In order to boost the capacity the following scope shall be implemented:
• Modification of topsides
• Construction of new flow lines
• Construction of Gas coolers
• Construction of receiving facilities
To ensure effectiveness, the following shall be applied:
• Detailed engineering management
• Field engineering management
• QHSE
Project finance
Technip and NPCC are working in a joint venture agreement to carry out the main construction and engineering works for the project before handling it over to the client Adma-Opco.
