Dow’s industry-leading portfolio of speciality chemical, advanced materials and plastics businesses delivers a broad range of technology-based products

Chemicals giant, Dow Chemical, exhibiting at Adipec this year for the seventh consecutive time, will be showcasing its comprehensive portfolio of solutions for oil and gas operations.

In addition to its solutions for exploration and production, Dow will be exhibiting its application of chemistries that can help improve process efficiency while optimising water use, preserving water quality and minimising environmental impact, says Adriano Gentilucci, commercial director – India, Middle East, Africa & Turkey for Dow Oil, Gas & Mining.

The Dow portfolio will now also include silicone solutions from Dow Corning after a recent restructuring saw the silicone leader become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dow.

Gentilucci says over the years Dow has formed strong partnerships with key stakeholders as a result of its previous participations at Adipec and the company looks forward to another successful show.

"Over the years, Adipec has proven to be the biggest gathering of industry players in the region and is a great platform to showcase our technologies and innovations," he says.

By bringing together key industry players, Adipec provides an opportunity to share insights and collaborate on game-changing innovations which address regional and global energy needs, he says.

The event facilitates discussions on issues that matter to the oil and gas industry, especially in a volatile time for the industry, and provides companies like Dow the opportunity to showcase its innovative solutions to the right audience, he says.

The Dow portfolio highlighted at Adipec this year will include:

Upstream solutions: Embark Products for a Range of Wellbore Construction Needs; Accent Traditional and Traceable Scale Inhibitors; Aqucar Microbiocides; Dow Filmtec Reverse Osmosis and Nanofiltration Elements; Dow Ultrafiltration technologies; Demtrol and Dow Corning Crude Oil Demulsifiers; and Dow Corning Silicon-based Antifoams.

Downstream solutions: Amine Management Program, Ucarsol and Selexol Speciality Solvents and Dowtherm Heat Transfer Fluids.
