The 2023 Adipec conference will inspire innovation, provide leadership, and build momentum on phasing out emissions across the value chain while securing energy for a lower-carbon and, high-growth future all under the theme ‘Decarbonising. Faster. Together.’

The event will take place in Abu Dhabi from October 2 to 5, bringing together industry leaders, innovators, and policymakers to accelerate the practical action and credible solutions needed to tackle the challenges in energy and climate.

Adipec is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and hosted by Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc).

Over 160,000 attendees from around the world will join the leading energy producers, the biggest energy consumers, and enablers in government, finance, and technology, to provide thought leadership, foster cross-sector partnerships, and inspire the innovation needed to deliver the clean, affordable, and reliable energy the world requires.

Adipec 2023 takes place less than two months before the UAE hosts the 28th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28), providing a platform for the energy industry to advance credible solutions and collective action towards eliminating methane emissions, phasing out carbon emissions across the value chain to achieve net-zero by 2050, assuring energy security and investment in the global south, as well as scaling-up clean energies and decarbonisation technologies.

Adipec 2023 will host over 350 conference sessions across 10 strategic and technical programmes – including a new Hydrogen Strategic Conference – with more than 1,500 speakers who will explore the strategies and solutions critical to achieving a cleaner, more secure energy future.
