Halliburton Company (HAL) has introduced Reservoir Xaminer, a formation testing service designed to provide precise formation pressure measurements and representative samples of the reservoir fluid in less time.
Reservoir Xaminer service is designed to provide fast, high-quality, and customised data, even in the toughest conditions, according to the company.
It features a first-to-market technological advancement in the enhanced probe section with dual quartz pressure sensors.
Additionally, the service provides real-time monitoring, larger area dual probes, and high-strength straddle packers. This gives operators the ability to test their formations more quickly and accurately.
"The service shows a more complete picture of the well in less time," said Chris Tevis, Vice-President, Wireline and Perforating. "It gives operators a one-stop pressure gradient and allows them to obtain 4 times the data that other tools provide in the same stop."
