Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) has appointed Eisaku Ito as President & CEO, succeeding his tenure as Executive Vice President, CTO, and Head of the Technology Strategy Office since April 2020. Ito has over 30 years of experience at MHI, promoting the development of various technologies and businesses, improving business processes, and marketing new products and services. He has also played a significant role in responding to the rapid evolution of digitalization and AI technologies by establishing the Digital Innovation Headquarters.
