

Aramco Downstream President Mohammed Al Qahtani has been elected as an international member of the US National Academy of Engineering (NAE), marking the first Saudi citizen to be elected since its inception in 1964. Al Qahtani, who has held various leadership roles at Aramco, has been elected to the NAE as part of the Class of 2025 for his contributions in carbon management in oil and gas operations. He has held various positions within Aramco, including CEO, Chief Petroleum Engineer, and Vice President of Corporate Affairs.
