Nabors’ 3,000 HP ultra-deep rigs in Kuwait are capable of reaching depths of up to 30,000 ft
Nabors is strengthening its core drilling capabilities while advancing automation, digitalisation, and sustainable solutions across the region
At ADIPEC 2025, Nabors is all set to showcase its core strength in high-performance drilling while expanding its footprint through advanced automation and digitalisation, emissions reduction technologies, and a strong focus on in-country value creation across the Eastern Hemisphere.
This year’s ADIPEC’s theme of ‘Energy. Intelligence. Impact’, resonates deeply with Nabors’ trajectory over the past few years, as it leverages intelligent automation, digital platforms, and high-spec equipment to redefine the future of well construction.
WHAT’S NEW AT THIS YEAR’S ADIPEC
What makes this year’s participation different is the company’s significantly broadened and strengthened portfolio, starting with the strategic acquisition of Parker Wellbore, which expands Nabors’ footprint in machine shop services, fishing operations, and tubular running services across Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and beyond.
This integration enables Nabors to now offer a one-stop, well-construction portfolio encompassing drilling, equipment manufacturing, and lifecycle services.
Nabors will be featuring in-booth experiences with a focus on digitalisation and automation, a space where Nabors is leading with purpose and precision.
One of the key highlights will be the debut of RigCLOUD® Powered by Corva, the industry’s premier drilling intelligence solution.
This innovative platform brings together Nabors’ high-fidelity rig data infrastructure with Corva’s real-time analytics engine, delivering actionable insights directly to the rig floor and across remote operations.
It empowers teams to make faster, smarter decisions, minimising invisible losses and driving consistency across fleets.

The RigCLOUD® digital platform is now operational on over 75 rigs across the Middle East, North Africa, and Far East Asia |
Also featured will be their SmartROS® automated rig operating system, which, when combined with the RigCLOUD® digital platform, gives operators a powerful digital foundation for improving efficiency, safety, and decision-making in real time.
With the RigCLOUD® platform now operational on over 75 rigs across the Middle East, North Africa, and Far East Asia, Nabors will showcase how this scalable digital ecosystem integrates seamlessly with its wider automation suite, including the SmartROS® technology, Canrig’s automated power catwalks, and high-performance top drives.
These technologies are enabling advanced automation and real-time intelligence not just on Nabors rigs, but also across third-party fleets, delivering measurable performance benefits at scale.
The collaboration between Nabors and Halliburton combines the SmartROS® rig automation platform with Halliburton’s LOGIX™ automation and remote operation solutions to create a unified automation ecosystem that is redefining drilling performance.
This collaborative approach delivered breakthrough results for a major operator in Oman and Iraq, including a 43 per cent reduction in connection times.
At ADIPEC 2025, Nabors and Halliburton will spotlight this successful collaboration through a joint in-booth presentation, offering visitors a firsthand look at how integrated automation is transforming well delivery.

Nabors’ PACE®-F rigs are fully operational in Algeria |
ADIPEC attendees can also participate in dedicated in-stand presentations highlighting Nabors’ expanded UAE operations, its strong commitment to in-country value, and its accelerating digital transformation, anchored by RigCLOUD® Powered by Corva.
Together, these showcases reflect Nabors’ broader strategy to drive performance, precision, consistency, and sustainability across its global operations.
To round out this showcase of innovation, Nabors will also feature their newest PACE-X Ultra™ rig – the most advanced, high-spec land rig in the Lower 48.
Optimised for modern day unconventional wells, this next generation rig features a one-million-pound mast rating, 35,000 ft of racking capacity, and three 2,000-horsepower mud pumps equipped for 10,000 psi mud pressure.
The addition of PACE-X Ultra™ rig to Nabors’ portfolio demonstrates the company’s commitment to advancing drilling performance wherever energy is found.
PERFORMANCE-DRIVEN DRILLING: SETTING NEW BENCHMARKS IN MENA
From Algeria to Oman, and Kuwait to Saudi Arabia, Nabors continues to deliver results that validate its strategy of digital enablement, local excellence, and operational efficiency.
In Oman, Nabors has maintained more than 25 years of continuous operations, having drilled over 1,670 wells totaling more than 8.5 million ft.
In 2024, the company delivered a single bit run of 19,555 ft, an endurance and efficiency record that speaks to the reliability of its platforms.
In Kuwait, Nabors has reactivated operations with three 3,000 HP ultra deep rigs capable of reaching depths up to 30,000 ft.
Each rig is integrated with SmartROS® rig automation technology and linked to the RigCLOUD® digital platform, giving real-time analytics and decision support across operations.
The deployment also includes the Canrig ILLUMIC™ energy efficient lighting system, reducing emissions and fuel consumption while enhancing nighttime operations.
In Algeria, advancements in automation and digitalisation are accelerating improvements in drilling performance.
Nabors’ PACE®-F rigs, equipped with REVit® stick-slip mitigation, Canrig® Automated Power Catwalks, and full RigCLOUD® digital platform integration, have consistently delivered outstanding results.
Recent wells drilled to depths exceeding 4,000 m have achieved over 10 days of time savings, reflecting the efficiency gains enabled by automation and intelligent workflows.
Following their reunion with a national operator in 2024, Nabors now operates four PACE®-F rigs , all of which have been fully operational since the collaboration resumed.
These rigs are delivering strong and consistent results, reinforcing Nabors’ capability to meet performance targets in one of North Africa’s most technically challenging basins.
Between 2018 and 2025, Nabors drilled more than 320,000 ft of conventional wells in Algeria, demonstrating a sustained and reliable operational presence in one of North Africa’s most technically complex basins.
These achievements highlight the impact of advanced technologies and experienced execution in optimising well delivery and reducing operational risk in challenging environments.
In Kazakhstan, Nabors’ commitment to operational excellence is reflected in the remarkable improvement in drilling efficiency over the past decade.
In 2017, the company drilled over 29.7 million ft, with an average well delivery time of 82 days. By 2025, despite a reduction in total footage drilled to 13.2 million ft, the average drilling time was cut to just 35.31 days.
These achievements are the result of digital execution, safety culture, and seamless collaboration with customers in the region.
Looking ahead, Nabors remains committed to delivering measurable impact, whether it’s through customer performance, emissions reduction, local value creation, or workforce transformation.
With its deep operational roots and strong technology focus, the company is uniquely positioned to shape the future of energy across legacy and emerging markets.
Nabors is exhibiting at Stand 6331, Hall 6, at ADIPEC 2025.
