The platform combines AI tools, data processing and engineering expertise

Gain.Energy has launched Upstrima, a specialised artificial intelligence platform designed to automate complex technical tasks and support engineers across the oil and gas industry.

The platform combines AI Agents, AI Workflows, intelligent data processing and engineering expertise within an AI ecosystem tailored to industry-specific data, workflows and practices.

Its Marketplace offers ready-to-use and customised AI Agents for applications including offset drilling analysis, stuck-pipe prevention, drilling dysfunctions, equipment failure analysis, well integrity, procurement and Plug & Abandonment.

Upstrima can automatically identify and classify unstructured oil and gas data across more than 50 common file formats, including scanned, typed and handwritten documents, without requiring pre-processing.

It can also integrate data from sources including WITSML.

The platform allows companies to build and train their own AI Agents or have them developed by Gain.Energy’s team.

Multiple Agents can also be connected through AI Workflows to automate complex processes.

Gain.Energy said Upstrima is designed to reduce technical execution times by 50–70 per cent, enabling faster workflows and allowing engineers to focus on higher-value decision-making.

The platform is available through a subscription-based web application for oil and gas professionals and organisations seeking to accelerate AI adoption and automate engineering processes.
