Saudi maritime growth takes centre stage in Jeddah

The Saudi Maritime & Logistics Congress 2026 will take place on October 21-22, at the Jeddah Superdome, bringing the maritime and logistics industry together to examine Saudi Arabia’s growing role in regional and global trade.

The event is expected to attract more than 15,000 attendees from over 90 countries, including government representatives, port authorities, shipping companies, logistics operators, investors and industry buyers.

The programme will feature more than 120 speakers and 200 exhibitors, with over 800 VIPs expected to attend.

Held under the patronage of Saleh Bin Nasser Al-Jasser, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Transport and Logistic Services, the congress is supported by the Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani) and the Transport General Authority (TGA), with Bahri and Seatrade Maritime Saudi Arabia as strategic partners.

The 2026 programme will examine developments in port capacity, logistics zones, freight corridors, shipping services and digital infrastructure.

Discussions will cover trade corridors and connectivity; ports, logistics and industrial competitiveness; maritime and logistics energy transition; infrastructure investment and economic development; and technology and resilience.

The congress comes as Saudi Arabia advances the objectives of its National Transport and Logistics Strategy, which aims to position the Kingdom as a global logistics hub connecting Europe, Asia and Africa.

The event will also provide a platform for exhibitors, buyers, government stakeholders and project leaders to discuss partnerships, investment and commercial opportunities across the maritime and logistics value chain.

Jeddah’s position on the Red Sea trade corridor will provide a backdrop for discussions on supply-chain resilience and future trade capacity.
