Maysan Oil Company, owned by the Iraqi Ministry of Oil, announced late Saturday (April 4) that its warehouses in the Bazarkan's oil field in Maysan Province were subjected to an unidentified drone attack.

The assault did not result in any injuries among its employees, the company said in a statement, calling on all workers to exercise caution and fully adhere to occupational safety instructions, reported KUNA.

Earlier Saturday, the Rumaila oil field in neighbouring Basra was attacked by a drone that caused material damage to a warehouse belonging to one of the companies operating there, without any casualties among workers or staff.
