Ampo Poyam Valves will supply 85 high-pressure on-off ball valves for two upgrade projects at the Karachaganak Field in Kazakhstan, operated by Karachaganak Petroleum Operating.

The valves will support gas reinjection compressor upgrades and trunkline expansion works aimed at ensuring safe and reliable operation of critical gas handling systems.

The Karachaganak Field, near Aksai, is one of the world’s largest gas and condensate assets and remains a key regional energy hub.

The scope includes manual and pneumatically actuated valves designed for demanding service conditions, including sour gas environments containing hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide.

Manufacturing will be carried out at Ampo’s Kazakhstan facility in Atyrau, reinforcing the company’s local production and service capabilities.

The award highlights Ampo’s ability to deliver engineered valve solutions on accelerated schedules for complex upstream and gas reinjection applications across the region. -OGN/TradeArabia News Service
