TotalEnergies has completed the divestment of its distributed solar assets, totaling around 170 MW, across seven European countries to Amarenco and AMPYR Distributed Energy.
The portfolio includes mainly rooftop solar installations in
France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, the UK and Luxembourg,
marking the end of TotalEnergies’ distributed generation activities in these
markets.
The buyers will continue operating the assets to ensure
uninterrupted customer supply.
TotalEnergies said the move will not affect its renewable
energy expansion plans, with the company targeting more than 75 GW of gross
renewable capacity by 2030. -OGN/TradeArabia News Service
