Egypt’s Petrojet, ENPPI secure $6bn Oman energy framework deal

0/0

Egypt’s Petroleum Ministry has announced that a consortium of Petrojet and ENPPI has secured a six-year engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) framework agreement with Petroleum Development Oman (PDO), covering projects valued at more than $6 billion.

The Egyptian consortium was among four global groups eligible to bid for projects under PDO’s portfolio.

The agreement supports Egypt’s strategy to expand the international presence of its petroleum-sector companies and boost exports of engineering and technical services.

It will also contribute to Oman’s in-country value goals through knowledge transfer, training for Omani engineers, and greater involvement of local companies and supply chains, strengthening energy cooperation between Egypt and Oman. -OGN/TradeArabia News Service
