Malaysia’s palm oil stockpiles rose 3.32 per cent to 2.63 million tonnes in July 2026 from 2.54 million tonnes in June, according to the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB).
The increase was driven by higher crude palm oil (CPO)
inventories, which climbed 7.24 per cent to 1.43 million tonnes from 1.33
million tonnes.
In contrast, processed palm oil stocks edged down 0.99 per
cent to 1.20 million tonnes.
MPOB data also showed CPO production increased 9.41 per cent
month-on-month to 1.79 million tonnes from 1.64 million tonnes, while palm
kernel output rose 10.69 per cent to 422,266 tonnes.
Processed palm oil and palm oil exports fell 51.93 per cent
to 49,566 tonnes from 103,113 tonnes in June.
Meanwhile, palm kernel oil imports surged 93.12 per cent to
11,545 tonnes from 5,978 tonnes, highlighting stronger external supply during
the month. -OGN/TradeArabia News Service
