Axens has been awarded a contract by Argentina’s YPF to implement a 5,000 m³/day low-sulphur diesel hydrotreater at its Industrial Complex using Prime-D technology.

 The unit will be delivered through prefabricated modules, reducing the project schedule by six months compared with conventional construction.

The modular approach integrates vessels, structures, piping and instrumentation off-site, minimising on-site activity and disruption to refinery operations while optimising capital costs.

Prime-D is Axens’ diesel hydrotreating technology for producing ultra-low-sulphur diesel, offering operational flexibility and reliability.
