Unique Group, a global provider of subsea technologies and engineering, has entered a strategic partnership with The USV Group to support wider adoption of uncrewed surface vessels (USVs) across commercial survey and marine applications.

The partnership combines Unique Group’s USV technology with The USV Group’s operational and regulatory expertise, targeting safer, more efficient and lower-impact marine operations.

Unique Group, which has more than 600 employees across 18 locations, develops and tests its USV platforms in-house.

Its fleet has been commercially deployed in eight countries for applications including shallow-water and harbour surveys, coastal monitoring and infrastructure inspection.

The collaboration will focus on the Uni-Mini, a compact electric USV for shallow and confined waters, and the larger Uni-Pact, a catamaran platform designed for heavier payloads and longer operations.

Both can support multibeam, LiDAR and GNSS technologies.
