Industrial and thrustboring services
Anabeeb offers a range of specialisations, including high pressure and ultra high pressure water jetting, chemical cleaning, catalyst handling, bundle pulling, leak sealing, bolt tensioning, in-situ machining and thrustboring.

Another milestone
Anabeeb has exceeded client expectations in the completion of a series of EO Reactor catalyst change-outs;  an activity it is particularly well-suited to performing. “At SABIC’s SHARQ Al-Jubail Plant, Anabeeb completed this task 34 hours ahead of the target schedule with 100 per cent safety and quality.
In Kuwait, a similar project for Equate was completed 52 Hours ahead of schedule - a real milestone - achieving satisfaction and appreciation from the client”, said operations manager Mr G S Pareek.
Never a company to rest on its successes, Anabeeb is a pioneer in the premixing, loading & segregation of “catofin” catalyst technology in the Gulf region, successfully using this process to complete contracts for Dugas, IBN Sina and commission 8 reactors for Tasnee, at its SPC PDH Project.
Another successful project, at Ras Tanura for Saudi Aramco was awarded to Anabeeb for its expertise in Process Decontamination using Zyme Flow Technology, for which the company is the approved contractor.
Province activity
“Anabeeb is extremely active in Yanbu, Jeddah and Western Province”, says Mr S A Erasmus. During the first quarter of 2004 Anabeeb has been very active in the Western Province Area, completing small maintenance works for clients Luberef and Safra.
At the Saudi Aramco Rabigh Refinery in the Kingdom’s western region, Anabeeb has been awarded a prestigious long term T&I contract, with Anabeeb having already mobilised more than 300 men at short notice at the same plant to change the Catalyst in their Hydrogen Reformer. In parallel Anabeeb carried-out an emergency shutdown at Ibn Rushd, Yanbu, working on the plant’s CCR reactors, heat exchangers and flair maintenance.
Anabeeb AIS Division has also just completed major turnaround tasks for clients at Ibn Rushd, a SABIC Affiliate plant, as well as Saudi Aramco Rabigh Refinery where our teams undertook Catalyst change-outs in Reactors, with day and night shift maintenance crews carrying out numerous cleaning and mechanical works over more than thirty working days.
Pipeline division
“The pipeline division has seen massive investment”, says Jeff Forrester Anabeeb’s Pipeline Division (PLD) has started 2004 with an exciting agenda ahead. With the enthusiasm and support from Deputy General Manager Mr. Hashim G Moraisel, this Division has invested huge capital in a brand new 285-ton Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) machine to complement its already unique inventory to perform micro-tunneling, pipe jacking, auger boring, center bite and the fast-growing HDD methods. Anabeeb’s approach is uniquely versatile.
The expertise of the team in all rock conditions gives clients the peace of mind that their projects will be successful thanks to Anabeeb’s professionalism and technical excellence.
Pipeline Division staff say the new 285 tonne HDD rig has the capability of inserting over 2000 meters of pipe in diameters from 200mm to 1600mm, depending on soil condition, enabling Anabeeb to dramatically reduce project time-scales.
PLD have already completed various challenging projects this year, including micro tunneling an 1800mm crossing in central Bahrain and a demanding 225 meter, 30mm steel concrete lined water pipe under a live pipeline corridor in the Kingdom, using their 35 tonne HDD rig.
Anabeeb’s foresight opens up exciting new opportunities, allowing clients to re-evaluate projects that were previously not financially or technically possible.
Qatar expansion
“Qatar has seen fast-track growth”, says Alan Hinder, area manager. Anabeeb’s fast-track growth in the State of Qatar has enabled the oil and gas sector to tap-into the knowledge and experience of Hinder and his team, who have re-located to Doha.
Under his direction, Anabeeb has established new facilities in the Salwa Industrial Area to meet all the needs of the dynamic and growing Qatar oil and gas sectors, along with other sectors such as the telecoms, utility, power and water industries.
