The company’s manufacturing facility, which is located in Riyadh, is capable of producing pipes with outside diameter of 6”-20” (168.3mm-508.0mm), under a comprehensive production and quality programme that qualified it to obtain monogramming license from the American Petroleum Institute (API) for producing Line Pipes (5L) and Casing Pipes (5CT) and the most prestigious ISO 9001 for the design and manufacture of HF-ERW pipes.
Annual production output exceeds 160,000 metric tons per year.  Pipes for Sour/Nonsour environments fall within its range of supply, as well as OCTG Casing Pipes (threaded and coupled), and external pipe anti-corrosion coating services for Fusion Bonded Epoxy (FBE), Three Layer- Polyethylene (3LPE) and Polypropylene (3LPP) applications are also available.
A key factor for Arabian Pipes Company is its rigid application of quality control procedures, at every level, both in the production process and management operations.
APC has installed the latest generation of manufacturing and testing equipment to meet the strictest international and customers’ standards, including the Saudi Aramco SAMSS and Shell DEP standards.  APC has since been registered with, and consistently listed in the approved and preferred vendors list of numerous major oil companies.
The installation of cage forming method, edge milling, as well as the acquisition of advanced heat treatment, weld- and full body ultrasonic testing and laboratory facilities, state-of-the-art integrated information system and the latest in pipe handling and storage methods make APC truly a world class mill.
Staff training is essential to keep all aspects of the company’s operation working to peak efficiency at all times, and to maintain a high standard of service to its customers.  A great deal of emphasis is placed on staff development programmes and ensuring the company’s personnel are fully aware in the latest advances in their respective fields of work.
APC is fully committed to making both a major positive impact in the local Saudi Arabian industry and significant contribution to the economy.
To cope up with the dynamic growth of the Middle East region, and in the spirit of continuous corporate expansion, APC has established a Longitudinal Submerged Arc Welded (LSAW) plant in Jubail, which will commence commercial production by end-2006, to cater the market for 16”-48” (406.4mm-1219.2mm) pipes, in accordance with various international specifications and standards, with external and internal anti-corrosion coating capabilities as well.
