Honeywell will supply its modular Ecofining process technology, pumps, compressors and integrated control systems for Acelen Renewables’ greenfield biofuels project in Bahia, supporting sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and renewable diesel production. 

The technology converts waste oils and fats into low-carbon fuels that can cut greenhouse gas emissions by up to 80 per cent. 

Honeywell said its modular approach reduces construction timelines and costs, helping accelerate SAF production to meet growing global demand.
