2H has completed a near-field noise assessment for a major offshore wind project in East Asia, providing predictions of airborne and underwater noise generated during monopile installation. 

The study evaluated the use of a Menck 3500 kJ hydraulic hammer and noise reduction unit, helping the developer assess compliance with local regulations and environmental requirements. 

The findings will support installation planning, mitigate environmental risks and optimise construction strategies before offshore work begins.
