SSPC Saudi Chapter (The Society of Protective Coatings) held a Technical Dinner Meeting on October 16 at Kempinski – Al Khobar, which was organised and sponsored by DLPS (Diversified Lines Petroleum Services).

The evening’s technical topic was ‘Heat Transfer Rate of Heat Exchangers’ delivered by Christoph Fischer-Zernin, Commercial Director at SÄKAPHEN. The meeting was chaired by SSPC Saudi Chapter Chairman Mana Al Mansour and Vice Chairman Hassan Al Sagour. This technical dinner was also attended by SSPC President Joe Walker, who came in especially for the event.

It was a great event to promote coating technologies for the protection of heat exchangers, vessels and tanks with a high performance protection from corrosion.

The technical dinner was attended by a record number of over 120 industry professionals, which was the highest number in any such event. The presenter got the full attention of attendees and afterwards had a Q&A session with a lot of technical queries.
