The Customer Meet was well attended

SPP Pumps (a subsidiary of Kirloskar Brothers Ltd) in association with its partner for Saudi Arabia, Top Tag Trading (3T) organised a Customer Meet on September 18, 2019 at Al-Khobar to create awareness about the world-class pumping solutions and products from the SPP Pumps and Kirloskar Brothers Ltd (KBL) portfolio.

The seminar was on the theme "Pumps Powering the Future" and focused on the fastest growing industries and applications in Saudi Arabia. The seminar received an overwhelming response with over 100-plus delegates from over 60 organisations representing a wide fraternity of Water and Waste Water, Oil and Gas, Petrochemicals, Chemicals, HVAC, Steel, Food and Beverage, Rentals and Contractors in the segment of fire-protection and dewatering.

Hamoud Assehdi, Director – 3T welcomed the delegates, followed by Thiagu Bhojan (Country Head – 3T) briefing about 3T developing to be a "One-Stop Shop" through its expanding industrial products and solutions for Pumping, Air and Gas Compression, Refrigeration systems, HVAC, Process Cooling and Valves.

Robert Tichband, Sales Director, SPP Pumps UK took the audience through SPP and KBL’s corporate profile and its various significant global projects. Ravikumar Kunnambath, Sales Manager, SPP Pumps detailed the SPP and KBL product portfolio and demonstrated the state-of-the-art Dolphin Pump selection program to their customers.

The presentations were insightful covering products’ range, salient features, design advantages, and touched upon major installations in critical and demanding applications across diverse industry applications and SPP Pumps and KBL’s commitment to offer products in the kingdom that meet the highest quality standards.

SPP and Kirloskar pumps are no new names in the kingdom and their pumps have been running successfully for over four decades in harsh environments including sewage treatment and chemical processing. Their products are approved and installed at the various facilities of Saudi Aramco, Sabic, National Water Company, Ministry of Water and Environment, Ministry of Housing, Ministry of Higher Education and at various industrial plants.

The open house session provided the participants an interactive common platform for clarifications on vendor approvals, compliances and accreditations, equipment performance, efficiency, reliability, salient features, ease of maintenance and responsiveness of after-sale support to ensure reliable operation through the entire life time of the equipment.

A large number of the participants showed interest in the pumps owing to their proven quality and robust design, which enable them to operate in hostile, arduous and extreme temperature environments and yet deliver consistent performance. The session ended with a vote of thanks by Mark Townrow, Regional Manager – Middle East, SPP Pumps complimenting participants for the opportunity and assured the company’s complete support and commitment to its Saudi customers.
