At this year’s Offshore Technology Conference (OTC), Caterpillar Oil and Gas will showcase ESG-focused products and solutions with Solar Turbines and the newest addition to the family of Caterpillar companies, SPM Oil & Gas, which was acquired this February.

On display will be products such as the award-winning Cat 3512E DGB Tier 4 Final engine, which provides increased performance with 85 per cent diesel displacement, a factory-installed dual fuel solution, and overall lower owning and operating costs.

Another showcase will be the new Cat G3520 Non-Road mobile gas genset (NRM). With a rated power of 2.5 eMW, this gas genset is designed to minimise ESG footprint by lowering NOx and CO2e, decrease flared gas, and reduce fuel costs.

Meanwhile, the Cat Power Grid Stabilization (PGS) integrates conventional and low-carbon power solutions to help maximise power output efficiently and flexibly.

Caterpillar will be discussing oil and gas related products and solutions at Booth 1541 alongside with SPM Oil & Gas and Solar Turbines.

“At Solar, we continue to innovate and bring sustainable solutions to the industry. A great example is the SMT60, our 5MW block of mobile scalable power, which responds to the oilfield need for mobility, quick set up, and teardown. Powered by our industry leading Taurus 60 gas turbine, the SMT60 operates on a wide variety of fuels including field gas which would otherwise be flared,” says Kenneth Rumsey, Oil and Gas Marketing Manager at Solar Turbines.

The company invests in digital capabilities with the Solar InSight Platform, which can extend the life of turbomachinery to maximise profitability and performance while improving the standards for efficiency, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Meanwhile, SPM Oil and Gas remains focused on helping oil and gas companies deliver the energy that powers communities and the economy while reducing costs and environmental impacts

“As one of the only companies with natural gas or electric-powered 5,000-HP pumps operating in the field, we are actively providing technologies that reduce emissions while promoting efficiency gains for positive operations and bottom-line impact,” said Paul Coppinger, President of SPM Oil and Gas, A Caterpillar Company. --Tradearabia News Service
