
Spark Utilities, a wholly owned subsidiary of King Salman Energy Park (Spark) and the Kingdom’s third power producer and supplier, signed an operational & maintenance services contract with Miahona, a leading developer & operator of sustainable solutions in water and wastewater projects, to provide convenient and reliable utility services to tenants at Spark.
Through this partnership, Miahona will support Spark Utilities with the operation and maintenance of wet utility services offered at Spark, including potable water, wastewater, and irrigation systems.
It will provide sustainable integrated water solutions according to global best practices, and in line with Spark Utilities’ green business model.
The agreement was signed by Spark Utilities CEO Engineer Ahmed Al Essa and Miahona CEO Engineer Awaadh Al Otaibi during a ceremony held in the presence of Spark CEO and Chairman of Spark Utilities Engineer Saif Al Qahtani as well as its board member Einas Al Ashgar.
Al Essa said the partnership marks an important milestone in Spark Utilities' journey to build a leading industrial ecosystem at the heart of the energy market.
"It reinforces our position as a world-class utility operator and allows us to realize our ambitions to deliver the highest quality of services to tenants, as we constantly strive to elevate the investor experience at Spark," he stated.
Al Otaibi said: "This project is strategic for Miahona’s local presence and consolidates its leading position in industrial utilities, including water and wastewater assets.
