King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy (KACARE), a scientific research and governmental entity in Saudi Arabia, is actively working to enhance national capabilities in the energy sector by sponsoring the Renewable Energy and Sustainability Summer Programme in Japan, aimed at female renewable energy engineering students from Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University.

This four-week programme takes place in various Japanese cities, including Tokyo, Kansai, Kyushu, Fukushima, and Tohoku, and is organised in collaboration with the University of Tokyo and other prominent academic and research institutions.

The initiative seeks to improve participants’ scientific and practical expertise in renewable energy and sustainability.

Students will go on field trips to power plants, attend intensive lectures, and engage in supervised research experiments conducted by energy specialists.

The programme is overseen by KACARE’s Energy Capacity Building Sector, which manages coordination with international partners and provides both academic and financial resources. -OGN / TradeArabia News Service
