Saudi Diesel Generators Company Limited (SDGC), established in 1978 in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, is a 100 per cent Saudi-owned, limited liability company.

The company is licensed by the Ministry of Industry and Electricity to manufacture diesel generator sets in the 15 kW to 2000 kW range and diesel engines.
SDGC designs and manufactures both state-of-the-art as well as custom-built generators and backs it up by excellent after-sales service.
The company's manufacturing and service activities are certified for ISO 9001 and it has a quality control team, headed by a Quality Control Manager, who scrupulously monitor the ISO standards.
SDGC's head office and manufacturing unit are in Al Khobar. It has branches in Jubail, Riyadh and Jeddah as well as dealers in Abha, Tabuk and Unayzah, catering to the provincial needs of its clientele.
The company employs over 200 staff.
The year 2004 continued to be a good year for the company's sales activities and the order books kept it busy with business from both the government sector and private sector groups.
Among them were Saudi Aramco, Saudi Electricity Company and Sable group of companies. The company also got good export orders from Gulf countries and Iraq.
Alongside growing sales, the O&M operations have also increased and SDGC supplied quality spares and services to its customers.
The company did well in its renting business of mainstream Gen Sets and construction equipment to the growing construction industry.
The company hopes to achieve much better sales in the year ahead. A quarter of the growing work force is made up of local staff, whom SDGC trains and tries to retain while giving them new trade skills and growth opportunities within the company.
SDGC-manufactured diesel generator sets are based on a wide range of heavy-duty industrial engines i.e. MTU, Detroit Diesel, Perkins, Yanmar, Ruston, EMD and Daewoo to suit customer requirements.
SDGC builds units from 15 kW to 2000 kW. SDGC also manufactures diesel driven and electric motor driven fire pump units to FM/UL and NFPA-20 requirements with capacities up to 5,000 gallons per minute.
Saudi Diesel Marketing, the trading arm of Saudi Diesel Generators Co Ltd, is the sole distributor for several of its principals.
Daewoo Heavy Industries Ltd for Excavators, Wheel Loaders, and Fork Lift Trucks, DaimlerChrysler for MTU and Detroit Diesel Engines, Donaldson Europe for their Gas Turbine Filtration Systems, Neoplan, Germany for Airport Shuttle Buses, Rheinmetall Landsysteme, Germany for Air Start Units and MSB Heavy Industries, Korea for Rack Breakers etc are some of the notable among them.
Saudi Diesel Marketing maintains an elaborate inventory of spare parts, valued at over 20 million Saudi riyals.
In fact it is the largest company in the Middle East to cater to all the above said agencies products.
SDGC offers comprehensive after-sales backup, with service network headquartered in Al Khobar.
