Frost & Sullivan has presented Sabic with the 2012 European Frost & Sullivan Award for Customer Value Enhancement based on its recent research on the plastics used in water infrastructure in which pressure pipes was a key market.

A leading provider of polyolefin solutions for a wide range of typical applications with a specific focus on the pressure pipe market segment, Sabic’s proactive initiative and in-depth understanding of the pipe manufacturing process has helped it create an ocean of opportunities for the customer to optimise operational efficiencies.

The company’s value chain partnership approach of working closely with the customer to understand unmet needs at each stage of the pipe manufacturing process is clearly demonstrated in its Sabic Vestolen A Rely bimodal HDPE product line.

Overall, Sabic’s approach in focusing on the overall solution rather than the product alone has played a huge role in customers choosing to partner with it, increasing its customer base and consolidating its position for the future. In recognition of these factors, Frost & Sullivan is pleased to present Sabic with the 2012 Frost & Sullivan Customer Value Enhancement Award in the European bimodal HDPE market for pressure pipes.
