The commission’s officials gave an overview of Jubail industrial city since its establishment
The Royal Commission of Jubail and Yanbu (RCJY) held a meeting with a delegation of more than 40 British investors having successful experiences in industrial cities’ management.
The delegation was briefed about the infrastructure and adequate investment climate in Jubail, Yanbu and Ras Al Khair industrial cities.
The commission’s officials gave an overview of Jubail industrial city since its establishment, investments in petrochemical and manufacturing industries, available opportunities, and provided answers to their questions.
The delegation has listened to a detailed explanation about the advantages of Jubail industrial city, where officials said that although the city is new, it has long-term plans compared to its counterparts in other countries.
Phil Hymes, head of the delegation, says: "We are delighted to visit the Royal Commission of Jubail, where the delegation was on a visit to Saudi Arabia on the sidelines of the Saudi British Energy Week, which is held every two years."
The delegation consists of representatives from large British companies, which are looking for investment opportunities in the kingdom," Hymes adds.
He pointed out that the delegation focused mainly on investment in the operation and maintenance fields related to petrochemical industries.
The delegation expressed its gratitude to the RCJY for the warm reception and the opportunity to see the industrial city of Jubail closely.

The economic delegation held talks about investment opportunities in the two countries in various sectors such as energy, renewable energy, construction, education and training.
