
Galfar wins $299m Oman project

MUSCAT: Oman’s Galfar Engineering has been awarded a RO115-million ($299.21 million) construction contract by the country’s top oil and gas producer, the contracting company said. Galfar will build a new central processing facility at Petroleum Development Oman’s (PDO) Yibal Khuff project southwest of Muscat, it said in a bourse statement. The contract is duration is 51 months.
Iran’s condensate sales at 2 mbpd

DUBAI: Iran’s sales of crude oil and gas condensate will reach 2 million barrels a day (mbpd) in the coming days, President Hassan Rouhani was quoted as saying. “Iran’s income will increase. Our oil and gas condensate sales will reach 2 mbpd in the coming days. We will experience a different situation in the coming year,” Rouhani was quoted as saying by the Tasnim news agency.
Libyan oil production drops

TRIPOLI: Libya’s oil production dropped to between 295,000 and 350,000 barrels per day (bpd) because of long-standing power supply problems, a spokesman for the National Oil Corporation said. Mohamed Al Harari said shortages from the public electricity network had affected oil supplies, but he expected production to recover soon.

Morocco plans $30bn green spend
RABAT: Morocco is planning a $40-billion investment programme in the energy sector for the next 15 years, including $30 billion for renewable energy, a report said. The country has also designed $30 billion worth of water infrastructure during the same period, Abdelkader Amara, Minister of Energy, Mining, Water and Environment, was quoted as saying in The Namibian.
