South Korean construction group Hyundai E&C has announced that it has received transmission line  orders worth $389 million from Saudi Arabia. 
 
The scope of work includes installing a total of 491km of transmission lines to deliver electricity from solar power plants in the western part of the country to substations in Madinah and Jeddah, it said.
 
In addition, Hyundai E&C has secured two separate orders from Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) for installation of 380-kV transmission lines in Madinah and Jeddah cities. The installation work will be completed in November 2027.-TradeArabia News Service
