Hatcon appoints general manager
Elie Maalouf has been appoiinted the new general manager of Hajjan Trading Est (Hatcon) in Saudi Arabia.

Elie Maalouf will report to executive director Iad Noueyhed.
Elie brings with him a wealth of experience of 20 years in a diversity of fields. 
He started his career in Liberia, West Africa as owner of a construction and manufacturing company.  As a result of the civil war, relocated to Ghana and accepted the position of general manager in a major textile mill. 
Elie came into Saudi Arabia and has been associated with some of the highly prestigious groups; at first with Rashed Al Rashed as sales and marketing manager, and then moved on to Alturki Group where he was the marketing and business development manager of their trading arm (Inma Trading).

His appointment will further strengthen the management team and gear Hatcon to achieve its new challenge. 
As general manager, Elie will take charge of all operational, commercial, financial, administrative and business development functions within Hatcon.
Hatcon is expanding its operations within Saudi Arabia, to include various sales and service outlets, and the establishment of a fully geared mechanical workshop with its blasting and coating facility, besides looking for future expansion into neighbouring countries.
