Packers Plus Energy Services, an innovator of multi-stage completion systems that provides solutions for challenging applications in horizontal, vertical, multi-lateral and high pressure/high temperature (HPHT) wells, is working towards growing their footprint in Saudi Arabia by adding a district workshop in support of upcoming technologies.
Having been in the Saudi market for 13 years, the company has become a leader in innovation and operational excellence, delivering a diversified completions portfolio to its clients.
"The growth of Packers Plus and the new technology being delivered will allow for organic growth of our Saudi workforce to support customers in Saudi Arabia," says Jasim Al Ulaiw, Packers Plus Technical Sales Manager, Saudi Arabia.
The company continuously brings new technologies to Saudi Arabia to keep up with the demand of the market, he says. Among them are the QuickFRAC multi-stage multi-entry completion system, providing working pressure up to 15,000 psi, and the PrimeSET Liner Hanger which is V0 qualified and has a 15,000 psi working pressure capability.
Most of Packers Plus’s work to date has been performed in the gas drilling and production projects.
"Since gas is not for exportation and is for local demand only, the available market is not influenced by oil price and we are trying our best to support our client to get the maximum output to meet the demand," says Al Ulaiw. "We are focused on entering the oil sector to deliver the same support."
The company, which has achieved a Saudisation rate of 78 per cent, says its winning points are quality of work and operational excellence. In addition, Packers Plus has the capacity to turn in a rapid response to customer needs at any given instance, he notes.
