The Global Industrial Utilities Forum 2025 (GIUF 2025) aimed to promote smarter utility systems by bringing together industry professionals, experts, and decision-makers from over 60 countries. It took place in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, from April 28 to 30.

The forum, titled "Reliable, Resilient & Efficient Utility Solutions," showcased technological advancements and sustainable solutions in power and water utilities. Attendees engaged in knowledge exchange, explored innovative solutions, and discussed best practices for enhancing utility efficiency, reliability, and resilience.

The event began with opening remarks by Mamdouh Al Aidarous, former Aramco professional and Engineering Consultant at CSD.

The forum featured keynote presentations by Prof. Suresh Sampath, Deputy President at IpowerE UK, and a distinguished panel discussion featuring Ayedh Al Fardan, Director of Utilities at King Salman Energy Park (SPARK Utilities), Mohammed Al Ta'ani, Secretary General of the Arab Renewable Energy Commission, and Dr Corrado Sommariva.
