Fugro-Geoteam AS
Within the Fugro Group, Fugro-Geoteam AS has worldwide responsibility for Marine Seismic Data Acquisition and Onboard Processing.
Operating a high technology fleet of six permanent seismic vessels, the company is able to offer its clients vessels that are capable of meeting today's wide variety of technical and environmental challenges when acquiring 4D, 3D or 2D seismic data.
Fugro-Geoteam's 3D seismic services have greatly impacted the Middle East region over the last six years.
The company is well recognized for providing high quality 3D data to the industry.
The company has been operating 2D/3D/4D seismic in very complex environments and has been undershooting more than 40 offshore platforms/complexes in the Middle East region.
With more than 30 years of experience the company is a significant player in the 2D, 3D and 4D market.
While its vessels are operated from Norway, the Fugro network of companies has enabled it to gain experience from all six continents (including Antarctica). The combination of a strong operational group in Norway supported by regional marketing offices and Fugro OPCOs with local knowledge has been instrumental in this success.
Seismic Processing
Fugro-Geoteam provides full fold onboard 3D processing and can deliver interpretation tapes to its clients immediately after the last seismic shot.
The 3D migration can also be carried out onboard the vessels within one week after the last shot, if the time between various client projects permits this.
Otherwise, the final processing including 3D migration (PSTM, PSDM, etc) will be carried out in one of its onshore centres operated by Fugro Seismic Imaging.
The Onboard Processing is supported and supervised from its processing centre in Oslo and is a critical part of the Quality Control of our geophysical services.
The processing centre is an integrated part of the Fugro Processing Network, which is offering 2D and 3D seismic processing to the industry in general based on Uniseis and Paradigm Software operating on powerful UNIX workstations and Linux PC-Clusters.
