It offers passive fire protection solutions to the oil and gas sectors and the marine segments by preventing steel structures from heating up rapidly in a fire and thereby delaying the loss of structural strength, containing or helping prevent fires escalating until they can be put out.
Sigma Firebarr 2000 TB - Thermal Barrier, a part of the intumescent product range, provides thermal insulation and helps in applying intumescent coatings to surfaces operating at 85 degree C up to 150 degree C.
Sigma Firebarr 2000 products are extensively tested and have comprehensive approval certification for hydrocarbon and jet fire. The products Meet Norsok M501 standards and also provide up to 120 minutes fire protection to structural steel
