Riyadh Furniture Industries (RFI): a 100 per cent Saudi owned limited liability company was established in the year 1395 H corresponding to 1975 G.
Its commercial production commenced in 1978.
In a short span of time, with the support form Saudi Government and its policies encouraging local industries, RFI made tremendous progress over a short period of time.
In order to meet demands for various furniture, particularly in the Institutional and Educational sectors for laboratory and library furniture, classroom furniture and school furnishings, RFI underwent two expansions in 1980 and 1989 increasing its assets to over SR100 million.
It expanded the factory area from 40,000 sq m to 170,000 sq m with a considerable number of most modern (CNC) computerised machinery.

RFI's export programme to the Gulf countries picked up an extremely encouraging tempo. Demand for RFI produced furniture is increasing day by day.
RFI modern and technically advanced factory, produces all types of (tubular steel & casework build furniture), wooden, upholstered and polypropylene base furniture to full fill the requirements of office furniture for institution and organisation buildings, auditorium/stadium, airport/waiting area seating as well as residential furniture.

RFI is certified ISO-9001-2000. The product manufactured by Riyadh Furniture conforms to or exceeds relevant SASO standards and ANSI/BIFMA requirements and tests.
The Quality Control and test facilities are equipped with CNC machineries. Riyadh Furniture shares close relationship with SASO, BIFMA & SEFA organisations.
RFI is a active member of several of their committees. Certain staff are members of ASHRAE. RFI has its own fume hood test facility one of its kind in the Middle East.
RFI Factories, Administration Office and Showroom are located in 2nd industrial city (Riyadh) on an area of 170,000 sq m.
