With patented machinery and trained staff, D.L. Ricci Corp has grown to become a leading worldwide supplier of on-site portable machining solutions, it says.

The company serves many industries but its primary focus is in the petrochemical and power generation industries, says Tom Feehan, marketing coordinator. 
These industries appreciate the accuracy and portability the company’s tools bring, he says.  
The company is an original equipment manufacturer and creates tools that cut and bevel pipe, bore, grind, mill, end-prep, heat-treat and more.
These pipe cutting and prepping tools are available for sales or rental.
In April 2004, the company opened its first office in the Middle East in Sharjah. 
Started and managed by the D.L. Ricci Ltd office in England, this facility has a 1000 sq ft warehouse and a 350 ft office space. 
“The demand for rental equipment became quickly apparent, and the UAE office now stocks over 200 machines with a range from 1/8-inch OD - 110-inch OD, says Feehan.
“The parent company D.L. Ricci Corp is truly international with warehouse and office space around the globe. It is the largest machine tool rental company in the world.
“The recent introduction of its MM180 Clamshell was our most recent success.
“This giant cutting and re-facing tool can work on material up to 180-inch.  The MM180 was built for use at an American nuclear facility, for a steam generator replacement project.  It has a great potential for a variety of machining applications.
“The D.L. Ricci Clamshell was our first product and still today our most popular.  Lightweight, portable and powerful, our 5 different models of clamshells are the World’s finest pipe cutting and beveling tools. 
“This year is shaping up to be the finest in D.L. Ricci company history and next year we are looking to beat that judging from a variety of factors including the positive response received from the recent Adipec exhibition”, says Feehan.
