Representatives from Saudi Aramco and Statoil of Norway met in Dhahran recently for the second Statoil/Saudi Aramco Technology Collaboration Steering Committee meeting.

The meeting's goal was to set up a framework for the joint development of technology, to review the progress of collaboration and to agree on additional potential areas of technology collaboration.
In addition to the meeting, there was also a two-day Field Development Technical Exchange, and a one-day workshop on Research and Development and Commercialisation of Technology. Both workshops were attended by top professionals.
