Wood, a global consulting and engineering leader, secured over $1 billion in Middle East contracts in 2025, marking a second consecutive year of record bookings and a nearly 20 per cent increase from 2024.
The contracts span the UAE, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, and Qatar.
The key contracts include an EPCM expansion of ADNOC Gas Habshan, project management and engineering for PetroChina at Iraq’s West Qurna 1, PMC services for TA’ZIZ’s first UAE methanol plant in Al Ruwais, decarbonisation projects for flare gas reduction across Iraqi oilfields, and advisory/due diligence services for a global energy and chemicals investor.
