The event aims to advance low-carbon energy systems

The Beijing Energy Congress will bring together government representatives, energy executives, technology providers, and investors to explore the future of global energy systems and strengthen collaboration between China’s energy sector and international partners.

It will take place from January 13–15, 2027, at the China National Convention Centre, Beijing, China.

Positioned as a major international energy gathering, the three-day event is expected to attract more than 30,000 industry professionals, 500 global exhibitors, and participants from over 100 countries and regions.

Organisers say the congress will serve as a platform for shaping next-generation integrated energy systems and accelerating innovation across Asia and global markets.

The event will feature both strategic and technical conference programmes, with more than 2,000 delegates, 500 industry speakers, and over 150 conference sessions addressing key issues facing the energy sector.

Discussions will cover a broad range of topics, including oil and gas, liquefied natural gas, hydrogen, renewable energy, low-carbon technologies, nuclear power, electrification, artificial intelligence, digitalisation, manufacturing, shipping, and logistics.

A large-scale exhibition will showcase the latest technologies, products, and solutions from international companies seeking to expand their presence in one of the world’s most influential energy markets.

The exhibition is expected to facilitate business development, technology exchange, and strategic partnerships across the energy value chain.

A key feature of the congress will be the China Energy Club, an invitation-only networking platform designed for senior executives, policymakers, and industry leaders.

The club will host leadership roundtables, private meetings, and strategic discussions focused on energy transition, innovation, and sustainability.
